Enable Nested Files

Turn on the expand icon for any file so you can start adding children whenever you're ready. The file instantly behaves like a container with space for nested components.

When to use​

  • When you want to prepare a file for future nesting
  • When you want to drop files or folders under a file

How to use​

  1. Right-click on a file in the File Nesting Explorer panel
  2. Select "Enable Nested Files" from the context menu
  3. The file immediately becomes expandable
  4. You can now drop new nested files or folders under it

Example​

After enabling nested files on Settings.tsx you'll see:

> Settings.tsx

The file is now ready to receive nested components whenever you need them.
